A rare collection of Dr. Seuss artwork is giving San Diego another reason to visit the Gaslamp Quarter, and a Fox 5 San Diego segment secured by c3 Communications, Inc. (c3) helped introduce the show before opening day. “San Diego, Dr. Seuss Lived Here” features artwork inspired by the city where Dr. Seuss lived and worked, from the La Jolla coastline to the San Diego Zoo. View the segment HERE.

The segment gave viewers a preview of pieces in the show, including a rare edition of “I Dreamed I Was a Doorman at the Hotel del Coronado” and a newly discovered manuscript, “I Sing the 50 States,” released June 2.
Securing coverage ahead of opening weekend helped put the show in front of San Diego viewers while there was still time to make plans. For a show like this, the right media coverage does more than announce the dates. It gives people a reason to visit while the exhibit is still open.
EC Gallery is located at 621 5th Street in the Gaslamp Quarter and is open seven days a week, with free admission.
This is where effective media relations and event promotion work together, helping turn a rare exhibition into a timely local story while people still have the opportunity to experience it.
