In our more than 25 years in public relations in San Diego and beyond, we at c3 Communications, Inc. (c3) have been blessed to make great friends while supporting meaningful stories that make a difference in our community. This story is a perfect example of why we do what we do. What the story HERE!

We’ve had the honor of working from the sidelines with Sandra Scheller, Founder of Remember Us The Holocaust (RUTH)a San Diego-based nonprofit devoted to preserving Holocaust history through education, empathy, and remembrance.

Through our continued support, c3 has helped share RUTH’s mission to one day establish a permanent Holocaust Museum in San Diego. Recently, ABC 10News San Diego shared the arrival of an extremely rare Holocaust uniform from Poland, marked with a pink triangle, identifying the wearer as LGBTQ.

It’s a piece of history that carries immense emotional weight and an important reminder of lives impacted during one of humanity’s darkest times and shows it wasn’t just the Jews who were in concentration camps. 10News has been following their journey and they are so good we share some of their segments with ABC News national for potential network pickup, helping expand awareness for this remarkable story.

With award-winning national media experience and long-standing relationships across the San Diego media landscape, c3 is honored to help amplify meaningful stories like RUTH’s.

If you’d like to support Sandra’s vision to preserve this artifact and help make the permanent museum a reality, please consider donating to RUTH’s GoFundMe page.

For more than 25 years, our public relations team in San Diego has been honored to help share stories that move people, strengthen communities, and make a real difference. This is what public relations with heart looks like and it’s how we make people’s lives better.
