At c3 Communications, Inc. (c3), we do not just work for our clients, we work with them as a true part of their team and often become part of their family. Ruth-Ann Thorn is especially meaningful to us because she is both a dear friend and a longtime client. When we wrote the nomination that earned her the Women of Distinction honor from the City of San Diego,

we knew the recognition was only the beginning. Through our Public Relations and Media Relations work, we knew her story deserved to be elevated to a wider San Diego audience. NBC 7 San Diego featured Ruth-Ann in its special “Her Story” segment. Watch the feature HERE!
The segment highlighted Ruth-Ann during Women's History Month and recognized the impact she continues to make as a business leader, advocate, and pioneering Native American entrepreneur in San Diego. Ruth-Ann is a proud tribal member of the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians (Payómkawichum) and the founder of EC Gallery, N8iV Beauty, and Native Star Boutique in the Gaslamp Quarter, long using her voice and platform to uplift Native communities, support artists, and make a lasting difference in San Diego.
This is what we love about public relations and media relations, when the work connects all the dots. From writing the nomination to securing and elevating the coverage, Ruth-Ann's story is now reaching expanded new regional and national audiences.
Congratulations, Ruth-Ann.
